After two successful virtual seasons of AWS M-Power Academy, AWS M-Power Academy is launching its first in-person event. This event, to be held in Pullman New Delhi Aerocity, on September 29, 5:30 pm onwards, will focus on putting the spotlight on its customers.
The AWS M-Power Academy event aims to give the stage to its customers, fostering interactions about how businesses use different AWS solutions, how AWS solutions have helped them scale and improve efficiency, and how AWS can help them better. The event will highlight the customer experience of four AWS customers – Delhivery, Paytm, MakeMyTrip, and Nykaa.
The event will begin with opening remarks by Satinder Singh – Head of Solution Architects (Digital Companies) at AWS India, followed by a fireside chat with four AWS customers, an audience-interactive Q&A session, and a networking session along with cocktails and dinner.
Audiences can also avail different interactive AI experiences outside the main stage. These AI experiences are focused on Generative AI and various use cases.
For the past couple of years, AWS M-Power Academy has played an integral role in educating, engaging, and building conversations with ITDMs, developers, data scientists, solution engineers, IT managers, CTOs and the greater tech community within startups, enterprises, and Digital Native Businesses (DNB). Each session was focused on highlighting the contributions, innovations, and developments within India’s tech community.
AWS M-Power Academy has created a platform where members of the tech community can learn and interact with AWS experts, along with empowering Information Technology Decision Maker (ITDMs) and the overall community with interesting case studies and demonstrations.
In 2023, AWS M-Power plans to go beyond educating and empowering its customers and aims to reveal the success stories of its customers.
After conducting 24+ curated, in-depth, and tech-intense events since 2021, with more than 32 AWS experts and 1,500+ attendees from digitally-native businesses, AWS M-Power Academy has launched AWS M-Power Academy Season 3.
AWS M-Power Academy will host three virtual events, along with four in-person events in four major cities of India this year to better engage with digitally-native businesses and the larger tech community within the startup ecosystem.
Since its launch, AWS M-Power Academy has played a crucial role in educating, engaging and building conversations with ITDMs, developers, data scientists, solution engineers, IT managers, CTOs and the greater tech community within startups, enterprises, and digitally-native organisations. Each sessions highlighted contributions, innovation and developments within the tech community of India.
Along with empowering ITDMs, developers, and the tech community with case studies and demonstrations, AWS M-Power Academy has created a platform where attendees can learn and interact with AWS experts, from the key tech levers of databases, containers, analytics, security, and AI/ML, through demonstrations and Q&A sessions.
In 2023, AWS M-Power Academy will put the spotlight on its customers, asking them to reveal how AWS solutions are not only fuelling their tech and innovation but also enhancing business operations.
AWS M-Power Academy is all set to launch the first event of its third season, which will focus on disaster recovery backup and restore strategy. The event will comprise two curated, tech-intensive, 60-minute sessions, which will be followed by interactive Q&A sessions.
Businesses today want simple, fully managed services that protect application data and increase the overall resiliency of their application stack. Application builders, on the other hand, want resilient application data services that are easy to use and scale.
Application and data resiliency are crucial for both organisations and application builders to ensure business continuity and disaster recovery (DR) for customers. This is also a regulatory requirement in regulated industries like FinTechs, Banks etc. The two sessions will cover topics like application data resiliency and protection designs, extending from native data resiliency capabilities of AWS services to AWS Backup through DR solutions using AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery.
The sessions will also include a cover cold backup replication strategy with a cross-region copy for AWS databases.
AWS experts Ajay Kumar Singh, Ayush Kumar, and Deepesh Dhapola will deep-dive into the topic of multi-region design and explore different ways to implement such architectures. This session will highlight how businesses can think about multi-region architectures and what is included in the cost and operations, from the engineering perspective.Businesses can also learn about AWS service features that can help them build multi-region solutions, including Amazon Route 53 Application Recovery Controller, Amazon CloudFront Functions, Application Deployment, Compute, serverless, network, and security.
Ajay Kumar Singh is passionate about helping customers build enterprise-scale, well-architected solutions on the AWS Cloud and specialises in the application modernisation domain. He has over 17 years of experience in designing and building various complex distributed solutions for large enterprise customers worldwide.
Ayush Kumar has more than six years of experience and has worked with various industries, including fintech and retail. He specialises in the container and infra-resilience domains and is currently working with various AWS customers, helping them adopt modern applications and cloud-native technologies.
With more than two decades of work experience, Deepesh Dhapola is helping AWS customers achieve success through cloud-native and modern technologies.
In the second session of the day, AWS experts Arun Pandey, Shirish Kulkarni, and Om Janmeda will focus on different methods for creative resilient application spanning multiple regions, including Asia Pacific Mumbai and Asia Pacific Hyderabad. They will discuss AWS database services for Relational Database Management System (RDBMS) and Non relational database, and the sessions will give attendees an overview of how they can set up disaster recovery using the newly launched Asia Pacific Hyderabad facility.
The session will also cover various architecture patterns and best practices along with fully managed services that protect application data and increase the overall resiliency of their application stack.
With more than 17 years of experience in application engineering and infra-architecture, Arun Pandey helps digitally-native companies in India build resilient and scalable database platforms, to aid in solving complex business problems and innovating faster on AWS.
Based in Sydney, Australia, Shirish Kulkarni is an In-Memory DB Specialist Solution Architect for the APAC region. He is passionate about distributed technologies and NoSQL databases.
Om Janmeda focuses on application modernisation, and developing scalable and resilient applications. He helps customers in their digital and cloud transformation journeys.
